The chat feature is located in the top right hand corner of the device, see message icon in the image below. The blue dot marked on the message icon indicates to the seller that there are unread messages; the dot is cleared when all messages have been read.
Select the message icon to open the chat feature. The next screen displayed varies based on a couple factors: number of conversations that have been initiated with the device, and number of raffle servers connected to the device.
If no conversations have been initiated with the device, and the device is only connected to a single raffle server, the device will default to a view that allows the seller to initiate a conversation with the raffle administrator.
The user may type a custom message or select the lightning bolt to choose a message from a list of pre-populated quick responses.
The sent message will appear in the thread. The message will be marked with the sender and time sent.
Received messages will display in a similar fashion.
The chat feature also accommodates group messages. Group messages can only be initiated by the raffle administrator. Once initiated, group messages will appear in a list of threads that the device user has access to interact with.
The list of threads will be ordered top down by threads with the most recent activity at the top.
