A new section has been introduced in the Event Setup to manage multi-product offerings.
Default Configuration (single event use)
If you do not intend to operate multiple events simultaneously, leave the Multi-Product Config settings as the defaults:
-
Event Dependency: Independent
-
Visual Order: 0
Multi-product Configuration Options
If you intend to operate multiple events simultaneously, the following configuration options are available:
Maximum Concurrent Active Events
You can have a maximum of two active events at the same time.
Visual Order
The Visual Order (VO) determines the display order of events, both online & on stations. Active events are displayed in ascending numerical order based on the Visual Order setting.
-
Example: If you create three events with Event A with VO 3, Event B with VO 1 & Event C with VO 4, they will be displayed in the order: B, A, then C.
If you assign the same Visual Order to two events, the oldest event will be displayed first.
-
Example: If Event D is created and has Visual Order set to 0, followed by the creation of Event E also set to 0, they will be displayed in the order: D then E.
Event Dependency
-
At least one of the two active Events must be set to Independent for customers to purchase tickets.
-
If one event is Independent and the other is Dependent, customers must add tickets from the Independent event to their cart before they can add tickets for the Dependent event.
-
If all events are configured as Independent, customers can purchase tickets for either or both Events.
