Final Syncing a Device

In order to draw your grand prize winning number, all handheld stations that have been enabled for the event will need to be final sync'd. This ensures all sales made have been captured and no additional sales are being made at event close.

There are two ways to do this:

1. Select the red Close Selling button on the right side of your admin portal dashboard, and confirm. This will automatically send a message to the handlehld device that the event is closing and the device is being final sync'd.

You can also final sync the station by following the instructions below:

1. Launch the 5050 app.
2. Select the three dots in the top right corner, then Settings.
3. Scroll down to the Final Sync option and select it.

Please note:

If a station has been enabled for an event, but the event wasn't downloaded to the handheld (Get Latest Events was not done), simply toggle the station off (grey) under the Stations tab in your admin portal dashboard.

If a station wasn't used but the event was downloaded to it, the station will need to be final sync'd to be able to draw your grand prize winner.
